The answer is simple: want a gun, follow the rules.  Meanwhile, another mass shooting in the U.S. : Four people, including a child, were killed in a mass shooting at an office complex in Orange, California, on Wednesday, a police official said. A fifth victim was wounded and transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Orange Police Department spokesperson Lt. Jennifer Amat said at a news conference. Police responded to a call of shots fired around 5:30 p.m. and encountered gunshots when they arrived on the scene, Amat said. Officers engaged the suspect and "an officer-involved shooting did occur," she said.

The opposite has happened: One in five Colorado high school students say it is "sort of easy" or "very easy" to access a handgun, a study found. New research, published Monday in The Journal of Pediatrics, analyzed 2019 data collected in Colorado as part of the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey -- an anonymous survey of more than 46,500 high school students in the state. As part of a larger survey, the students were asked "If you wanted to get a handgun, how easy would it be for you to get one?"
