Trump supporters discussed how to execute members of Congress prior to Capitol siege

The evidence is overwhelming that the insurrection on January 6th was planned well in advance. But the architects have not been arrested. We must demand it. The masterminds of the attack on our republic cannot go unpunished:

Others argued instead that a guillotine would showcase better symbolism, but lamented over the likely difficulties in transporting such a large blade.

The comments are raising serious questions about the intelligence failures of law enforcement in the lead up to the failed insurrection.

Although TheDonald.Win is no longer online, cached versions of the comments were collected in a 145-page report by the nonpartisan research group Advance Democracy.

Daniel J. Jones, a former FBI analyst and former Senate investigator, told the Post that the report shows just how central of a role the now-defunct forum played in the attack on Jan. 6.

“The website, TheDonald, played a far more central role in the January 6th Capitol insurrection than was previously known,” Jones said. “There are thousands of posts—with tens of thousands of comments—detailing plans to travel to Washington and engage in violence against the U.S. Capitol. The ultimate end goal of this violence was, on behalf of Trump, disrupt the Congress and overturn the presidential election.”

Send a Message to GOP Voter Suppression: Drink Coca Cola

The GOP is hopping mad that major corporations are refusing to go along with their voter suppression laws in Georgia. How dare they criticize their hateful agenda. Coca Cola is one of those companies. Top Republicans are incensed. We should pour fuel on the fire and support MLB (which pulled the allstar game from Atlanta) and Coca Cola. So drink up:

A group of eight Republican state legislators sent a letter to the president of the Georgia Beverage Association over the weekend asking to have Coca-Cola products removed from their offices after the company's CEO criticized the state's controversial new voting law.

"Given Coke's choice to cave to the pressure to an out-of-control cancel culture, we respectfully request all Coca-Cola Company products be removed from our office suite immediately," the group said in a letter that was obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The beverage giant, which is headquartered in Atlanta and employs about 4,000 Georgians, has provided free drinks for lawmakers' offices for decades, the AJC noted.

Meanwhile, the former president, Donald Trump, a diet coke fanatic, called for a boycott of his favorite soft drink company. BTW, isn't that a coke bottle on your desk? Some might say you are a hypocrite. But that wouldn't be the first time:

The GOP has decided that they will become fully the party of thugs and fascists, in the spirit of the 'dear leader' Donald Trump. They have nothing to offer but hate. And culture wars is a great way of distracting their voters from their economic plight. So Republicans welcome this fight. But we should not back down to this resurgence of Jim Crow. They even want to tell corporations that they should not participate as citizens, unless they are giving money to the GOP, of course:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell denounced the opposition corporations and sports associations have expressed about a recent Georgia voting law, warning that firms should “stay out of politics."

“I found it completely discouraging to find a bunch of corporate CEOs getting in the middle of politics,” McConnell said during a Monday press conference. “My advice to the corporate CEOs of America is to stay out of politics. Don’t pick sides in these big fights.”

While proponents of the law argue the changes were necessary to ensure election security, voting rights advocates argue the law will disenfranchise minority voters and lead to "a new Jim Crow" era in the state.

Labor board: Amazon illegally fired activist workers who criticized its practices

We must start to demand that the Democrats pass legislation that would breakup the tyrannical monopoly which is Amazon:

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) found that Amazon illegally fired two of its most prominent critics last year after they spoke out against the company's management of warehouse workers and impact on climate change, the New York Times reports.

The Trump campaign reportedly cheated donors who thought they were making a one-time contribution, collecting recurring donations

There is no bottom to Donald Trump. He knows nothing but fraud and deception. How someone like this could have become president is truly shocking. It says everything about the two-party system:

In what seemed to be an effort to bolster political contributions in the heat of the 2020 election against now President Joe Biden, the Trump 2020 campaign reportedly duped supporters into making recurring donations without their explicit or known consent.

An investigation of Federal Election Commission records done by the New York Times found that the Trump campaign, in the last two months of 2020, was forced to give hundreds of thousands of refunds in the amount of about $64 million. In total the campaign refunded $122 million, the newspaper said.

Many of these accidental repeat donors believed they were signing up to give a one-time contribution, the New York Times reported. Some of the victims of this scheme, like 63-year-old Stacy Blatt, were cancer patients who found themselves unable to pay bills and rent because of the repeated donations to the Trump campaign, the newspaper reported.

Charles Barkley: Republicans, Democrats Stay in Power by Dividing Americans

Charles Barkley is speaking the truth here. This is one of greatest takedowns of the two-party system I've ever heard. Commonsense logic. But a thoughtful observation. It's also courageous.

Here's the quote:
"Man, I think most white people and Black people are great people. I really believe that in my heart, but I think our system is set up where our politicians, whether they’re Republicans or Democrats, are designed to make us not like each other so they can keep their grasp of money and power. They divide and conquer.

I truly believe in my heart most white people and Black people are awesome people, but we’re so stupid following our politicians, whether they’re Republicans or Democrats, and their only job is, ‘Hey, let’s make these people not like each other. We don’t live in their neighborhoods, we all got money, let’s make the whites and Blacks not like each other, let’s make rich people and poor people not like each other, let’s scramble the middle class.' I truly believe that in my heart.

Facebook data on more than 500 Million Accounts found Online

Facebook should have been punished for their reckless disregard for the privacy of it's users. But they still continue to get away with their abuses. The ultimate answer is them to be broken up. facebook is too powerful. And that's how they get away with murder. That applies to all monopolies:

Details from more than 500 million Facebook users have been found available on a website for hackers.

The information appears to be several years old, but it is another example of the vast amount of information collected by Facebook and other social media sites, and the limits to how secure that information is.

The availability of the data set was first reported by Business Insider. According to that publication, it has info from 106 countries including phone numbers, Facebook IDs, full names, locations, birthdates, and email addresses.

Facebook has been grappling with data security issues for years. In 2018, the social media giant disabled a feature that allowed users to search for one another via phone number following revelations that the political firm Cambridge Analytica had accessed information on up to 87 million Facebook users without their knowledge or consent.

Immigrant Woman is Brutally Murdered by Mexican Police alas George Floyd

Reminiscent of the murder of George Floyd, Mexican police pinned down to the ground a handcuffed Victoria Esperanza Salazar Arriaz, with a knee on her back. The policewoman used so much force that the woman's back was broken. This begs the question whether U.S. police learned their brutality from lawless societies like Mexico or conversely. In both cases, the police showed no regard for human life. In this case it was a Salvadorian refugee whom law enforcement apparently thinks as deserving of such abuse. In the U.S., African-Americans are routinely murdered by cops simply for being black:

On Saturday, 36-year-old Victoria Esperanza Salazar Arriaza, a Salvadoran immigrant and mother of two, died a brutal and painful death at the hands of police in the Mexican tourist city of Tulum. Her murder was caught on a video which has gone viral on social media.

The horrific footage shows Salazar handcuffed and pinned facedown into the asphalt and screaming as a female police officer forces her knee into Salazar’s back as three male officers stand around her. It is unclear how much time Salazar spent in this position. The video cuts to Salazar’s limp body. She is still handcuffed, and the unaffected officers pick up and heave her limp body onto the bed of their police truck. No resuscitation or medical services whatsoever were attempted on Salazar by the officers.

Her body was dumped on a pickup truck. No respect even in death.

At least 55 of the largest companies in the US paid NO federal taxes last year

The system is rigged for the wealthy and has been for a long time. There is no solution until we overthrow the corporate two-party system:

Dozens of America's largest companies paid no federal taxes last year despite making billions in revenue.

In 2017, then-President Donald Trump signed a new bill law that slashed the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

This tax cut, in addition to legal deductions and exemptions, have resulted in companies paying $0 in taxes.

A total of 55 companies were named in the report, done by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), representing industries such as telecommunications, utilities and computers.

A further analysis found that 26 of those companies, including FedEx and Nike, have paid no federal income tax for at least three years after the Trump tax cuts.

It comes as President Joe Biden currently proposes raising the corporate tax rate up to 28 percent.

250,000 Americans Died Awaiting the Covid-19 Vaccination

Much of it is the fault of Donald Trump and the Republicans. But even under Biden the stories of our fellow citizens struggling to get vaccinated are many. Constant searches on online; refreshing of computer screens. This is no way to do it. There was no central place to get information about available centers for vaccinations. There should have been a hotline for people to call and get an appointment. Why force people to scramble to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones. In fact, no computer, no luck:

More than 247,000 people have died of COVID-19 in the U.S. since vaccines first became available mid-December. Officials had warned that dispensing enough vaccines to reach herd immunity would take months. And with the initial vaccine supply extremely limited and the virus running rampant across the nation over the winter, it was a sad reality that some would contract COVID-19 and die before they could be inoculated.

With surveys showing a large percentage of the U.S. population leery of vaccines, it’s impossible to say exactly how many of the dead would have even wanted an immunization. But Brown said her mother wanted one — desperately. Other families have similar, wrenching stories of loved ones being infected after months of staying safe and then dying before they could get a dose.

Hundreds join 'kill the bill' rallies across Britain against proposed protest law

Fascism is starting to hit Britain just like in America. They need our support. In fact, the people of the  world need to unite to fight for the rights. To not do so means the kind of slavery we see in Russia, China,  North Korea, etc., etc.:

Hundreds of demonstrators joined marches and rallies across Britain on Saturday as part of a “national weekend of action” against a proposed new law that would give police extra powers to curb protests.

The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts bill would toughen measures officers can take to disperse demonstrations, such as imposing time and noise limits, which campaigners and activists fear would be used to curb dissent.

Donald Trump's Odds of Staying out of Prison are Rapidly Dwindling

There is no question Trump is going to jail. He reaped what he sowed. Only a matter of time:

The last time we checked in on the legal comings and goings of Donald Trump, things were not looking so hot for the former president of the United States. In addition to being the defendant in no fewer than 29 lawsuits, per The Washington Post, he was the subject of numerous criminal investigations, including one in which attorneys had obtained access to his tax returns—documents that for some reason he spent the last four years fighting tooth and nail to keep secret. Now, two and half months after leaving the White House, have Trump‘s legal fortunes miraculously improved? In a word, no. In three words, hell fuck no. In 19 words, the 45th president of the United States should probably just resign himself to the prospect of going to prison.

Why Switzerland has Lot's of Guns, No Mass Shootings (Video)

The answer is simple: want a gun, follow the rules.

Meanwhile, another mass shooting in the U.S.:

Four people, including a child, were killed in a mass shooting at an office complex in Orange, California, on Wednesday, a police official said.

A fifth victim was wounded and transported to a local hospital in critical condition, Orange Police Department spokesperson Lt. Jennifer Amat said at a news conference.

Police responded to a call of shots fired around 5:30 p.m. and encountered gunshots when they arrived on the scene, Amat said. Officers engaged the suspect and "an officer-involved shooting did occur," she said.
